Self-reflection
Am I following You or simply running away?
I say I want to be in Your will, but am I just looking for an excuse to go where life is "easier"?
Do I truly trust You to take care of my, or do I only say that so people think I'm holier than I am?
Do I see Your hand of protection, or do I only look for the absense of conflict and hardship?
You never said my life would be easier.
In fact, You told me it would be hard.
So why do I look only for ease and joy?
Why do I equate hardship with sin or a lack of trust in You?
God open my eyes so I may see Your true plan for my life.
Give my trials so I may learn to truly
trust
You alone.
Give me hardship so I can see Your hand of protection.
Help me to walk in Your kingdom of light, when I am surrounded by darkness.

God show me your mercy
As only you can do
Fill me with your strength and forgiveness
And open the doors I need
I am a Christian proud and tall
But ever day I feel my pain
my faith begins to fall
I love him for he is the one and only

Who is it that blends the colours on the palette?
