Sounds of laughter fills my ears, tears of joy fills my eyes. I often spend time with my Grandchildren and they are mostly what make my life fun. I am a Grandfather of 8 and this is the time that makes life great. On the days when there is no school we jump and play, to pass the time away. This makes me feel young as if I was their peer and I shared liveliness and their cheer. Kids make you feel young and alive and will make you want to live a very long life. I spend my time looking forward to our time together, a time to laugh, a time to share, and a time to remember. We spend time at the Library and going for walks, play our favorite sports and going to Mickey D's, for junk food. These are times I hope they will never forget, and a time I live and enjoy, a time all Grandfathers should share such fun, with their Grandchildren. All my Grand children are unique in every way this is what makes my life happy in every way. A fun time for every one, 3 Grand sons and 5 Grand daughters are as different as night and day and help me live my life in every way. Girls and their dolls, and frilly lace, boys and their little wiggly creatures make for many features. Girls want me to be their prince and boys want to play army characters, what a variation that make life go round. Each child and each day is a challenge and I have to use my creative ways to communicate with each and every one of them. I guess my flexibility as an executive gave me the training it takes to live in a world of children, people are so very much alike and yet so different. I learned to manage people and now I use my skills to communicate with my grandchildren, but now I am having so much more fun. This is a wonderful life being a Grandfather. I get up each day with a plan in mind to that always include my family. Be it my children or my Grandchildren. My very own children were a big part of my life as my Grandchildren. I look at my Grandchildren and I see their parents, same smiles and same personalities. I am living my life again through my Grandchildren. What can be a better life for a Grandfather who loves his family, so much? I talk to some parents and they can't wait to get rid of their children or Grandchildren. This is a sad affair and I feel sorry for them, because family is what make life special and makes you feel alive, and we are lucky to have these times in our live. As you can see my family is a joy to me and a gift that I am lucky to share with my Family. My Grandchildren know of my love and my care and I can tell the way my relationship is with them that they also care and enjoy the same time and fun. When I see my Grandchildren the run across the way and yell, Hi Grandpa and it make my heart fill with love and joy. I have different name from each, some call me Bappy, Grand pa, or Grandpy. These are all names, I love.
