Mission: To Bring Rose Back:

Two weeks passed, Drew Morgan is so sure, he will have Rose back where she belongs. He will get a hold of that girl and teach her a lesson or two. What did she think, running out on him as she did? Who did she think she was anyway? How could she think he would not find her? She never was too smart, he thinks. Eventually, she will slip up. She did, when she charge the oil change on the truck three days ago. Of course, he will get her mail, since she did not forward it, another dumb move.

Well, this is the end of all the stupid things she has accomplished. He is going to Daphne, Alabama and get her back to Beulah where she belongs, one way or another. The sign says, "Daphne exit," coming up, not too soon. He is tired of being on this ridiculous bridge.

He pulls right up to the service station Tia works. Tia is stocking the shelves, it is a slow time. "Mam?' he ask. Tia does not hear him; she is just too darn busy unloading the boxes she brought from the storeroom. This annoys him greatly.

Again,"Mam, if you do not mind, I would like some information?" He says rather loudly. Tia drops what she is putting up, startled. She says, "I am sorry. Sir, I did not realize you are there. What can I do for you?" He tells her, "I am looking for a place called The White House." Tia tells him, " It is down highway 98, on the right, you can't miss it." As he leaves, she calls out,"I don't think there is any vacancies." However, he is gone.

It is a Saturday morning, of all the days to see Drew drive up. He hates to get up early on Saturday mornings. He is not any happier when he sees Rose and John sitting on the porch swing, together and holding hands. He is downright angry. Rose is scared. She cannot move.

Drew walks up the steps to Rose. She stands up, not sitting down anymore; she will face him finally. She will no longer do what he expects her to. John stands also; he sees the fear in Rose's face, her trembling hands. Drew looks tall and scary, he towers over Rose. However, Drew is looking at John, as he ask him to leave. "This is between me and Rose."

John refuses and asks him to leave. "ME leave? Are you kidding? After I came down here to get this bunch of trash. I am not going anywhere until she gets in my truck and now!" Louis comes out when he heard the yelling, "What's going on here?" Drew ignores him, and then he looks at Rose. "No, never mind. She is not worth it anyway. She
