more elaborate design that just goes over dad's eyes and nose.
Have your child decorate the mask with as many things as they like such as leaves, feathers, buttons and pipe cleaner creations. Let your child use their imagination and always ensure all craft items including glue are safe for toddlers.
A CROWN FOR DAD
Using the same methods and materials, as with the mask, have your children create a special Father's Day crown for dad to wear on his special day.
MAGNETS
Next time you're at your craft store visit the section that contains magnet kits. This will allow your toddler to create and draw on a surface that can be attached to a magnet and then put on the fridge.
DAD'S ROOM DOOR HANGER
Using some card stock or other cardboard at your disposal cut one in the shape of a door hanger. Have your child decorate the hanger with color and drawings and then laminate.
BOOKMARK
For the dads who love to read there is nothing better than a hand crafted bookmark created by his children. This is a very simple project for toddlers to create and can be laminated to protect your toddler's drawings. You could also include a special poem, or sit down with your toddler and ask them what they love about dad and write this on the paper for them.
Creating Father's Day crafts with toddlers needs to be simple enough so they remain interested and enthusiastic. When the project is completed have your child present their craft to dad on his special day and I guarantee the look on your toddlers face is worth all the hard work.
