FEAR

Calmness and Confidence walk down the darkened street.
Awareness is no where to be seen.
Danger is stalking them.
Horror lurks in the shadows, waiting, watching.

Calmness and Confidence sense Danger.
Awareness catches up, but Panic is already there.
Violence jumps out with Power at its heels.
Love is in Passion's arms in the apartment above
As Violation takes over below.

Blinding Pain faces seething Anger.
Power hungers for control.
Panic gives over to Intimidation.
Terror tries to scream out
Strength stops it in its tracks.

Raging Fury against failing Willpower.
Pleasure relieves itself in Innocence's path.
The attack is over.
Power, Violence and Danger turn and run
Leaving Hurt, Loneliness and a stunned Silence behind.

There is one who is split in two.
And it is carried by Power, Violence and Danger with Pride.
The other half is left shaking and crying
With Hurt, Loneliness and Silence.
Who is this one staying and going?
It is known as Fear.
