Gift ideas for the "hard to buy for" on your list

Choosing the right gift for some people can be a real nightmare. Sure, your dear Aunt Mabel is an avid knitter, so buying yarn or other knitting supplies seems a given. But once you're faced with a bewildering variety of yarns, needles and other paraphernalia with no experience to guide you to the right choices, what do you do? What about your co-worker who trains for the marathon every year? Or the firefighter, crossing guard, maid or waiter on your list? The answer may be as close as sitting down behind your computer and surfing the Internet.

If you'd like to give the gift of a smile, you need go no further than the Corrieweb Store at CafePress (http://www.cafepress.com/corr iewebstore). It's truly a one-stop shop where you'll be able to find something for everyone - not just at Christmas, but throughout the year.

In Bee World, for example, there's a large and growing collection of hobby and occupation specific designs such as "I'd rather bee knitting" or "I'd rather bee fighting fires." You'll also discover "worker bee" designs for many professions including actor, baker, cleaner, security guard, chef and many, many more. The designs come with and without text, and hobbies and sports are represented, too. There are other clever bee designs as well for beekeepers, bee fanciers, or anyone who enjoys wordplay and cute bees combined.

Artist Corrie Kuipers has created other "worlds" which focus on knitting and crafting, running, sheep, dogs, bunnies, cats, cows, Australian cattle dogs, karate, kawaii (Japanese for "cute") and more - all appropriate for adults and children. Merchandise includes T-shirts in a range of sizes and colors, mugs, magnets, ornaments, stickers, buttons, bumper stickers and sweatshirts.

Can't decide what to buy? Get creative! For someone who works outdoors, how about a baseball cap and a sweatshirt? An office worker might enjoy a mug and a T-shirt to wear on casual days. Kids will get a kick out of a shirt and sticker combination, while trendy young ladies will want to wear junior tees and hoodies, and swap buttons with their friends.

The Corrieweb Store at CafePress also offers unique and whimsical designs for Halloween and Christmas (including ornaments and packs of paper greeting cards). Her art is fun, fresh and colorful, and above all, humorous. It's all G-rated as well, which means you don't have to worry about offending someone with a controversial design.

With CafePress offering a choice of shipping options (including one-day shipping for those times when you've been a little forgetful) as well as gift certificates, there's no reason not to check the store whenever you need a gift for that special hard-to-buy person in your life.
