Down but not pout.
Down but not out, Senator Hillary Clinton may have something up her sleeve. Speculation abounds and that speculation centers mostly on how she will gain the vice presidential spot on the Obama nomination and where she can find the assassins who took out JFK.
David Gergen, a CNN political contributor was quoted as saying, "I think there's a danger that there will be an embittered Hillary group that will stay home or will vote for [John] McCain,"
"Embittered" is just sosopc. One might say, sore losers, or perhaps, tunnel-vision people with personal agendas who only care not for the process but for end results at any cost in a do or die, my way or the highway mindset. Still, others might just call them crybabies who have never seen the greater good of others or this country. Personally, I long for the good old days when people like these would protest by jumping from tall buildings, slashing their wrists in the bath tub or gulping handfuls of Seconols so they could die in a pool of their own filth as their body muscles lost the ability to constrict.
Unfortunately, Mr. Gergen's observation is evident in the hundreds of personal posts seen on CNN boards and in responses to articles by CNN columnists. There is a common message written almost word for word; if Hillary isn't nominated, I will either stay home or vote for McCain.
It seems doubtful that the anger and distrust is aimed at Senator Obama. It appears to be the roar of those who decided that Clinton was the only choice and, as with the recent decision of the DNC to quell the multitudes of shameless fascists masquerading as democrats, their rules and seemingly what's best for this country, does not matter. Do they truly shame the word democracy or do they shame the phrase, "crybaby loser psychopaths?" Perhaps I'm being unfair to the true crybaby loser psychopaths out there. They always made more sense then the "embittered" Hillary supporters who want to punish the entire world because their choice is not the one to prevail. Once again, a section of Americans heap shame upon us all in the eyes of the world.
So, to those who believe their road is to protest by sticking us with four more years of republican rule as a punishment for not putting Senator Clinton in the driver's seat, I say, you will also enjoy higher gas and food prices. You will be teaching us a lesson by sending your sons and daughters to Iraq and Afghanistan. You can sit back and laugh as the dollar shrinks to even newer lows and jobs continue to disappear. When we are all sitting out on the street and living in cardboard boxes, you will indeed have the last laugh but when you brag it is because you stayed home or voted for McCain out of spite, don't expect me to admire your fortitude or label you a patriot or even a mature adult. I will be too busy warming my belly by eating your still beating heart.
