If you saw a sign like this on the internet, you might think that you are the person they are looking for! Female, fifty five years of age and interested in entrepreneurship? This just might be your golden opportunity!
Matching a fifty five year old female with a perfect franchise, or a business opportunity, can present a challenge!

There are three kinds of franchises. ie. government franchises, business franchises and political franchises. A fifty five year old female may be interested in purchasing a business franchise.

A franchise opportunity may offer the following to the franchisee: a recruitment program, a training program, assistance with developing the business, support from head office, a functional business plan and a product or service currently in demand.

Another site, more specific, with respect to franchise opportunities for women is http://www.franchisesforwomen.com. Here, women are helped to find their ideal franchises and encouraged to become involved.

FranchiseGator, a subsidiary of Microsoft, promotes a web site on franchises, that are safe and specific for women.
