I am here and you are gone;
You were right and I was wrong.
I tried so hard to prove myself;
that I went and lost everything else.
But that doesn't change that you are gone;
to tell you your right and I was wrong.
So many nights I hurt so bad;
My heart is heavy, my eyes are sad.
Did I hold on to my pride so tight that I
couln't let you be right?
Now I'm alone and I still have my pride;
But the only thing I ever loved has died.
I am here and you are gone;
You were right and I was wrong.
