Poetry: Two hearts

Two hearts different or the same Two hearts belonging to two different individuals The first heart is happy and at play with a joy that gives to others The second heart comes along and asks for the happiness of the first heart- It is given The second heart plays with the first heart until it breaks and The first heart is sad, but knows to give it to the Mender and it is mended So the first heart is happy and at play with a joy that gives to others Again the second heart comes along and asks for the happiness of the first heart- It is given The second heart plays with the first heart until it breaks and The first heart is sad, but knows to give it to the Mender and it is mended So the first heart is happy and at play with a joy that gives to others Again the second heart comes along and asks for the happiness of the first heart- It is not given- The first heart shows the second heart the Mender and then he can have his own hearts joy.

    I never slowed down
    when I was young.

    Two hearts combined,
And yet they beat as one.
