Poetry: Mother

by Meesha Meserole

Created on: June 04, 2008

Mother:

You are my all

You brought me here

You gave me breath

Love

Encouragement

Care

You deal with us

All seven

Fighting

Arguing

Being brats

It hurts me to know

That you, of all people,

Never are thanked

Praised

Comforted

I'm sorry I never show my gratitude

I should

Even when I don't feel it

It's there

Waiting

To be acknowledged

Don't go away

I love you

For you love me.
