Yesterdays
Brightest blues
Drift into
Sad cobalt rifts
Sighing and swaying
Under blue smoky lights
In hazy
Beer soaked clubs.
Light blues
Fade to dark
Sapphire stars
Bounce off old guitars
Blue notes whine
Dusty dreams
Mop up memories
As raspy laughter
Keeps chorus
With mourning song blues.
