Poetry: Yearning

by Ethel Jean Grubbs

Created on: June 04, 2008

"Yearning" Cold winter season covers salvation to reach mountain top. Heaven's snow lakes sprinkles peace and serenity. The elemental surroundings make the meek seek cover. Prayer blankets link substance of comfort and warmth.Reminiscing the hot summer days of God's sun ray.Wishing the enemy cathode winter will soon change. Phantasm awakened must endure months of life lessons. Ice cold hearts will gradually fade, beating for God's grace.Babbling chill slaps conscious over and over; have faith. Essence of the hour must gather love ones in prayer. The warmth of the savior will surely bring vindication.Harsh, brittle world causes spasm to God's holy communion. Virulent breeze just keep on following corrupting vision. Yearning voice, must flee and find delightful vine more pleasing. Heart's purity cling seeking leadership of Heavenly Blue Oasis. Beautiful richness of spirituality spread throughout promise land.A divine creation where God's loving hands give cover to the meek. Deep appreciation for nature and all thing the Lord God has created.
