Silence overcomes what was a nightmare of sound
No voice to be heard, not a thing to be found
I close my eyes in preparation of this accident
At least they'll think it was an accident, they have to
No voice to say stop, no angel to catch me,
I'll just drop and drop
Flying sounds nice, I always wanted to fly
Fly high where the sky is blue and wild
Maybe I'll be able to, but to where
Where do I go after I've made it there
My life's been so hard you see,
I have to be doing the right thing, its got to be right, for me
Hahahahahaha......look at me I'm laughing at my self
I don't know if it's because I'm at the edge with no help
About to fall free forever just gliding,
Or because I'm scared to do this, see me doing this is suprising
I wonder what's at the bottom, what is it that awaits me
Nothing but water and stone, my hearts racing
Or is it a never-ending pit
What if I fall forever and never get my wish,
My wish to be free in a land of milk and honey,
You see, my body wandering at sea, I find it kind of funny
Which is why I chose this method of approach
To soar through an unknown crater at a downward slope,
But what could be down there
It looks like nothing but empty space with no type of ground there
It's ok though, I was smart
I have a fail safe plan to stop my heart
You see the time has come now and I've made my decision
Ahh! there's a sudden pain in my wrist
I've got to make sure to cut with proper precision
Or else that could be it
I don't want to bleed to death in the first few minutes
Forget it, either way I die
I just wanted a few moments to stay alive,
Just a few moments so I know what it's like to fly
Too late, I'm off, forgive me God I................

I feel as though I'm drifting but not swimming
Sinking not staying afloat
Being pushed rather than voluntarily remaining still

A dinner waits in the oven, dry as tinder sticks.
You hadn't come home for tea, at the normal time of six.
I gave you a few

Survival
The world span away
When the phone rang that day
Ears buzzed as he said
It's your turn.
So I rang for assistance,
And
Another Chance
I sat alone in my room,
holding the ultimate tool of my fate.
I'd been keeping it all inside,
forgetting to forgive
by Paul Curtis
WHAT?
What darkness
Leads a tortured soul
To break the bonds
Which hold us
Voluntarily
What illusion
So influences
A mind once so
