The designer clothes, posh cars, expensive houses and <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Hollywood friends, some might say Paris Hilton has it made. (Well probably most actually), she's America's IT girl and has the life style that so many can only dream about. She's the daughter of Rick Hilton; a multimillionaire real estate broker who's Grandfather Conrad Hilton founded the Hilton Hotels in 1919. Paris got her first proper bit of fame from a sex video which was published on the internet a few years ago. People knew who she was because of her name and family but never in quite so much detail. Since the video was leaked she has gone on to do many more things, she starred in a reality TV show alongside Nicole Ritchie called the simple life, has wrote a book, released an album and has her own perfume range (not to mention all the films she has been in). <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

> However she has still had her troubles! She was jailed not so long ago for driving under the influence of alcohol and has been linked with drugs. Not to mention the amount of partying she used to do. But has this life that she's been brought up in made her think she can get away with anything? After all we are seeing celebrities breaking the law all the time and getting away with committing serious crimes. Paris was charged for drink driving but she was then caught driving without a licence and going 75mph in a 35mph speed zone. Paris was sent to jail, but only for a total of 22 days. Other celebrities including: Lindsey Lohan, Nicole Ritchie, Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse have all committed crimes and have either got of or been sent to jail for a pitiful amount of time. Just because they are in the public eye it does not mean they can have a different set of rules, what kind of an example is this setting. But what I can say about Paris is that for someone who has not a lot of talent she has certainly made a lot of money! And she certainly knows how to spend it, she's always got the latest trend, the newest accessories and the stylist hair cut. Many people don't like Paris they think she's a spoilt snobby cow, well she is but that doesn't mean she's not a nice person. She has helped charities whenever she can (especially animal rights groups) and has many friends. She can't help the life she was brought up in and it's no wonder she's turned out the way she has. She never stared with her feet on the ground and she will probably never put them down there.
