I sense your pain..
someone has hurt you very deeply.
Take your time and heal.
I will be here by your side
and will not hurry you and push you ahead.
I am here waiting and understanding.

I see the sadness in your eyes...
you have lost something
you look as though you feel lost too.
I am here to hold you when you are ready.
Take your time, someone betrayed you when you trusted them.
I am here waiting and ready to be your friend.

I don't expect you to let me in now...
check me out, size me up
and then give yourself time to digest it all.
Something new is overwhelming when you are dealing
with hurt.
