Awaiting
By the stream
Trickling from mountains
Near
She sits
Ever so quietly
Delicately
Placed upon a pedestal
With no fear
Wings full
Of vibrant color
Resting around
Her tiny waist
Sitting
Gracefully
Knowing that soon
She too
Would blossom
Beauty to the eye
Of the holder
To witness
Such a vision
Eyes
To blink
Only to
Loose
