There isn't just one thing that everyone can do to stop anger, as everyone's emotions are completely different. Anger is triggered by certain events that happen in day to day life. If we can learn what triggers our emotions we can help to control them. When you have identified the cause of your anger there are many different ways to help control it. For example if it is a certain environment that makes you angry you could try avoiding it etc. Or perhaps it's not just one event that is the trigger to this anger, perhaps it's lot's of tiny little things that you simply can't avoid. If so, relaxation techniques are essential to help soothe and calm us in frustrating environments. Exercise has also been said to help relax the body and mind, which will take away some of the frustration which would have led to anger.
