The Lost Hat of a Wonderer
I want to walk on a Moroccan sand dune
with a wooden stick in my hand
and a camel by my side.
I want to drink lemonade out of a plastic cup
that i bought for 50 cents
on the side of the street.
I want to eat salads with my fingers
and food that fell on the floor
without that five second rule.
I want to dance to loud music
alone
in a room filled with glow sticks.
I want to listen to the ice cream truck go by.
I want to learn how to juggle oranges.
I want to laugh about nothing
with people I dont know.
I want to hit a mailbox with a bat
out of a moving car
only because it looks so cool in movies.
I want to swim in a lake with turtles
and live in a fish tank for a day.
I want to break something
anything
against a brick wall
and watch the pieces scatter
into places I cannot see.
I want to lye on the grass
surrounded by dandelions
and a herd of Swiss cows.
I want to walk in circles
chasing lost thoughts.
I want to be free
detached of all feelings.
I
just
want.
