Angels are part of every culture on the earth, as far back as we can find concepts of God we find tales of these powerful beings. Every religion has a name for them whether of Western, Eastern, or ancient origin. Given the wide acknowledgment of these messengers of God and agents of his will there must be something to this. Concepts do not cross the borders of time, culture, and religion without being a real and important part of the human experience.

We all received guidance from the angels, whether we realize it or not. I believe we each have angels that are assigned to us from birth and they are with us until the day we cross back over into eternity. While we have guardian angels, there are also angels that are responsible for a number of important things in our lives. It varies from person to person depending on the purpose they have chosen, but we each are in the company of angels every day.

The angels guide our lives whether we are aware of it or not. They need no attention, thanks, or approval from us to seek our greater good. They are servants of God and assist in carrying out the will of God on the realm of earth and in heaven, they answer to the Creator for the work they do on our behalf. This is not to say we cannot or should not thank them, pay attention to, or praise their efforts in our lives. When we acknowledge them in our lives it only gives them more power to act in our daily path, we can and should seek them out for assistance and for guidance. While a deep knowledge is not necessary to have a meaningful relationship with them, as in all things the more we know and understand the better for us to flow with energy. Whenever I know the angels have done a particular thing in my life, I thank them, this seems only right and proper. The key is paying attention to the things in your life so you can see their involvement.

When we have recurring thoughts, nagging ideas, similar messages coming from a variety of sources the angels are at work. They assist us with information, feelings and impressions that lead us in the right direction. I am certain that many people have experienced a feeling that told them not to take a certain turn in the road or to do a particular thing that is planned, only to find out later they were spared an unpleasant situation. On 9/11 there were stories everywhere about people that just didn't "feel" like going to work, taking the subway through the area, were unavoidably detained, or had other emergencies that prevented them
