The Stupid Way
If it's clever to have super powers
that spend more on waging wars
and finding ever more evil use
of the globe's limited resources
causing untold atrocities the world over...
If it's the right ting to do
to be seen as the best bedfellow
of unscrupulous world leaders bent
on reaping death and destruction
instead of sowing seeds of peace the world over...
If it's democratic to globe-trot
and impose western puppet regimes
in developing nations that facilitate
your machiavelic designs only to later
denounce them as despotic maniacs the world over...
If it's better to plant crops for fuel
than to feed needy starving millions
then turn around and make grandiose noises
pointing fingers of disdain at your 'axis of eveil'
and mercilessly increase food prices the world over...
Then what's the wrong, undemocratic, worst and stupidest way...?

My pain was gone when the dark
