Every story deals with conflict. The protagonist (or the main character) always faces some kind of conflict, whether it be against another person, against nature, or against oneself. For example, in the Lord of the Rings, young hobbit, Frodo Baggins, must deal with conflict against evil beings, and conflict with his inner self, fighting his will for power. Other characters in the story deal with conflict inside themselves with a craving for power. People in reality also deal with conflict; conflict against someone else, against their fate, or against the will of what they supposed would be best, when, in actuallity, was the worst.
It's always nice when you set off to participate in something you love to do; the knot fizzing in your stomach, growing bigger and bigger with excitement. But what if you expect to have that feeling, when instead you feel pains of nervousness and regret? The butterflies in your stomach turn to moths and eat away the excitement as you head towards your dread. Others are in love with your going and pressure takes over. "I don't want to go, I don't want to go!" Your insides are screaming and you can't run away; you cannot abandon commitment. What happens when you feel pressured into doing something you just don't want to do?
Everyone deals with conflict against commitment several times in their lives. Pressure can also tag along with commitment. Failure to stay can ruin other's hopes. Perhaps they ravel their dreams into yours to feel that their life was fufilled; that you succeeded for them. Pressure has many disguises; it can easily mask itself to thinking you are doing what's best for you.
But what if the commitment is for the best? What if lessons and passions come along the way? Commitment and conflict can sometimes mix to make sweet lemonade. Fate always gives people troubles along the way to form conflict, but it can turn out for the best. Paths in life are filled with many forks in the road; some paths will never connect again, but some will. The rollercoaster in one's life continously goes up and down, but it never lands up, you always land at the bottom again, feeling happy and secure.
People should stick with things in life and never give up. Everyone goes through hard times in life. Life, death, hate, love, conflict all cross paths with everyone's fate. It's best to deal with what is thrown at one; afterall, nothing lasts forever.
