I used to be
An unhappy preteen girl
Seemingly left in the shadows
Of an unknown evil
Nothing to light my world
Nothing to dry my tears
Every night I wondered,

Open-minded and simple-hearted,
And more than happy
To be enabled to dwell
In the freedom and peace
Of the world I long desired.
