Nurturing appeals to many students and suits their abilities as well. Many people who struggle in school would have a hard time if they did not have someone to help them along. If school was too hard then students would not retain as much that they learn. A quality education depends on what students learn and take with them for the future. Nurturing students will train them to survive whenever they get out into the real world. The journey through life is a long road to hoe, and students need nurturing to train their minds for their futures. Students should be given the ability to learn and educate themselves in a timely matter that will not burn them out before they ever get out of school.

It is stressed that teachers teach more, but students need a way to become smarter and more educated to prepare them for the workplace. Work smarter, not harder is what some people say, and we need to educate students to be smarter by nurturing them to be the best that they are capable of being. Rigorous schools will tire students out and school will become boring instead of interesting. It seems that rigorous schools push students away rather than pushing them to succeed. Nurturing is more soothing and relaxed, plus there is less stress to deal with every day. Keeping stress levels down can help students cope inside classrooms and out in the world.

Nurturing can help students grow as a person, as opposed to being stuck in the same place. To expand students' horizons, make them want to go out and conquer the world and make a better life for themselves. A fish is not a genius out of water, so students need their environment, too, to flourish. A rigorous school can cause students to give up on their education and cause the dropout rate to go higher. A nurturing school helps students to feel good about themselves without feeling bad because they get a bad grade. Nurturing schools enrich students with many things that will make them become successful someday.

Many paths will lead back to the time when the students were nurtured in school. Nurturing is relieving students from the struggle of the academic achievements. Only the smartest student will thrive in a rigorous school, leaving the other students left out. George Bush did not want any child to be left behind, so schools need to be nurturing instead of rigorous. Most people only think that private schools are rigorous, but public schools are catching up to private schools today. Who knows? The roles of public and private schools may reverse someday. I just hope that schools will not become so hard that everyone cannot get an education. Education is more important for finding a job than ever before, so I hope that school will be nurturing and give all students a chance to get an education.
