The Rumor of a Rainbow
I saw a rumor of a rainbow,
heard a whisper in the wind,
felt the glory of the stars
as it came to me within.
I listened to the past,
the echo of lost time.
It burned inside me deeply,
deep inside my mind.
It happened in one moment:

But in a flash it was gone-
the flag no more unfurled.
I long to have that moment back,
to cherish and hold on.
But I cannot remember
the lost lyrics of that song.
