Orlando Florida is a magical destination whether you have kids or not. With such a huge variety of entertainment and amusement in the area, researching what you seek will make the trip perfect. Theme Parks, Golf, Dancing, no matter what you're into, Orlando has it all.
If you do have kids, one of my favorite places to stay, besides home, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort is situated close to all that is Disney. The Caribbean Beach offers seven pools as well as a main pool area for cooling those hot Orlando days.
Disney's theme parks and resorts speak for themselves. You will have fun, but it'll cost you. Most younger kids will love the parks for about two or three hours, and then will want to return to the hotel to swim and play. So where you stay makes or breaks the stay when kids are involved. In that case, another great choice if you have kids, the Nickelodeon Resort in downtown Orlando. The pool is practically a water jungle gym/ water-park. Most kids never want to leave the pool area. I've heard of some children refusing the parks and opting to stay in the pool instead. If staying at the Nickelodeon, you may want to hold off on buying multi-day theme park tickets.
Universal's Hard Rock Hotel is a great resort. If you decide to go to Universal's Theme parks, your room key will get you on every ride without waiting in line. Of course you'll get dirty looks from those who are standing in the long lines, but who cares, with only three days to have fun in Orlando, time is everything and not waiting in those famed theme park lines is a saver. The Hard Rock also has a huge water slide that splashes you into a fantastic pool. This gigantic beach themed pool makes you forget you're in the middle of a big city and there are no oceans around. The pool area comes complete with beach sand and yummy frozen drinks. Again you may never leave the pool area.
After a day of play, Universal's City Walk has nightclubs to fit everyones style of fun. Because all the clubs are within walking distance of the Hard Rock Resort, comfortably have a few cocktails without any driving worries. When you are finished drinking and dancing, just hop on the water taxi back to your hotel.
Not all the fun Orlando has to offer is found near a theme park. Hundreds of beautiful Golf Courses span Orlando. Shopping, Restaurants, Bars and dancing are abundant on every avenue of this magical city. The Orange Ave and Church Street areas boast some of the hottest party scenes in the country. Some bars close at 3am, so there's plenty of time for a buzzing time. Breakfast is around the corner for those who will need nourishment for yet another day of fun.
Old Town in nearby Kissimmee is a blast on Saturday nights with the Antique car parade and sock hop. they have fun for all ages.
As for golfing in Orlando, remember, Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods are from Orlando. Great courses are available for all skill levels. No matter what your particulars are when it comes to fun, you will find it in Orlando or its nearby neighbors.
If you've got three days to have fun, come enjoy Orlando. Come to lounge by the pool, enjoy theme parks, play or escape your hometown's weather pattern. Orlando Florida is a paradise of fun.
