Spend the weekend with Minnie Mouse or Mickey or Goofy, in Orlando Florida. Better yet, take the tram back to the Walt Disney World entrance and don't spend all of your weekend looking for your vehicle in the parking area named after the Disney cartoon characters.

What better way to spend a couple of days then to spend it in Orlando Florida? Whether you are planning on taking a romantic vacation for two, or a family vacation this is the place to do it. Just about an hour's drive from the thriving Tampa-St Petersburg area is Orlando Florida, this area has so much offer for a fun, thrill seeking couple, or a family that you may want to schedule more than just a weekend of fun.

DISNEY WORLD

The biggest highlight of any trip to the ever- growing Orlando area is spending a day at Disney World. They call it the Magical Kingdom for a reason and it truly is. You will fall in love with this incredible theme park! You can even get married at Disney world. How's that for a wedding, getting married with Goofy as the best man?

With the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios all located here, there is way too much fun to be had in just one day's time. You could spend an entire day in just one section of the park, like my husband and I did, on our honeymoon. We obtained a three days pass and had the best time of our lives.

There are numerous amusement rides for kids of all ages. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is where you feel like you are part of the swashbuckling action. So be careful Matey! In Epcot Center you can tour different countries of the world in this one- mile section. Where else in the world can you dance with Snow White and eat dinner with Mickey Mouse?

BEACHES

Check out the beaches! They are a sugary white haven of serenity, and beauty to behold. I'm not kidding! Many of the beaches along the coast here offer activities such as parasailing, boating, fishing, kayaking, jet skiing, waterskiing, and scuba diving You can just wander around admiring the gorgeous warm ocean waters and watch the dolphins playing in the water. Shell collecting is fun, and you can take home treasures of starfish and sand dollars.

ACTIVITIES

The world's largest Hard Rock Cafe is located here. This is a fun way to spend some time eating dinner among rock and roll legends, while listening to great rock music. Take the kids and teach them something about your favorite artist. Other nights can be spent eating outside at one of the numerous area restaurants that range from upscale, to fast food. If you desire, eat dinner on the beach by packing a romantic picnic meal for two.

Sea World Orlando is a must stop. Not only will you have a great time with the animals, but also you get to learn in a fun way all about these magnificent creatures. Slip into the water with a beluga whale, and watch them jump out of the water in the terrific shows they have. You can even touch a stingray here! At Discovery Cove you can swim with the dolphins. How awesome is that, to actually communicate with a dolphin in its natural environment?

Spend a weekend at Orlando, Florida and have the best weekend ever. There's so much to do, you might find yourself, calling in sick to work Monday morning.
