"THE THREADINGS OF FREEDOM"
The prisoner was tall; he was of about 5 feet 10 inches. Light complexioned that is now turning pale and reddish long face for overstaying behind the bars. He was obviously bearded. On turning around to answer the call of the warder from the cell room it was Mr. Tony Barabas!
On Saturday the couple went to a cinema to watch a play entitled: the missing brother. A true life story based on the story of a twin who was taken up by a white man from Africa; the task master returned to Europe during the era of slavery. The twins were birthed for him by a black woman, whom he raped. The white task master forced her when her husband went out to work in a sugar cane plantation. She was warned not to tell her husband or he will shoot them both. The black man later discovered that his master was responsible for the pregnancy when the babies were birthed. Because they were white in complexion and he was black. He beat up his wife till she confessed and the slave master shot him in his right leg on discovering the matter. After that incident the white man took up those twins and sailed away to Europe, out of shame. There he committed them to a Foster home in England.
One of the twins was sick and reported to have died of malaria but it was not confirmed. The other twin grew up to be Mark Eva who wrote the script and directed the play: "the missing brother." That was the play which Mr. Tony Barabas went to see with his wife on Saturday evening. It looked like Tony's story but he was too drunk to see the director of the play for further enquiries. They left for the home late after the play to continue living their lives.
On Sunday the couple went to the church to hear the word of God. The pastor's message was on the fact that there are some things we call small and ordinary things in life but we don't even see their relevance until they are in retrospect. Oftentimes, where and what they lead us to in life sometimes are spectacular. The couple recoiled in bed after a summer sex on that warm Sunday night. With the romantic ambience of their bedroom; it was a great way to end the weekend for them both. Tony had brought in rose flowers into the room, the candle lights burning so blue on its stand. A romantic soft music was on the underground.
The new week started chaotic on Monday morning when Mr. Barabas was getting ready to go to work. The Baby's diaper was wet as the winter breeze. She had asked for an excuse from preparing the breakfast, while Tony
