When I picture God in Heaven
upon us looking down.
I oft wonder is he wearing
a smile or a frown.
As he looks at his people
at home or on the Church,
does he think we're going forward
or stuck in a lurch.
Faith Hope and Charity
do we know what they mean?
I often have to wonder,
as seldom they're seen.
Life gets in the way,
there is no time for God.
We have to serve ourselves,
Who cares were others trod!
So Charity will have to wait
until we have our need.
We can't go and give someone else
what after alls our seed!
We Hope we get that new job
our desires to fill.
We wonder why no answers to prayer,
why is God so still?
We have forgotten bout the woman
who gave the last she had,
to feed a hungry Prophet
and later was exceeding glad.
For God restored her cupboard full
her cup to overflowing,
For she had Faith to help a Prophet
on the path as he was going.
Faith, Hope, Charity,
these things we truly need.
Then God will bless our family
If we learn to sow some seed.
