New Orleans, Louisiana:
How can I put into words how exquisite the food, music, and people were?
My experience was indescribable.
I forgot my worries back home and allowed myself to be wooed by the sweet
scent of creole pralines and savory spicy red beans and rice.
Romanced by the sexy soulful jazz instruments in the various clubs and on the
streets, I gave in to the tantalizing seduction of the French Quarter.
Walking under the Cajun moon gave me a overwhelming sense of freedom,
no one cared if I couldn't sing or if I was wearing Ohio State gear,
(I got mad props for still representing)
When I stepped out of the hotel my breath was taken by the Cathedral in front of
it majestic and pure, the shadow of Jesus with outstretched arms beckoning me
as if by instinct made aware I was heading toward the local watering holes.
I experienced the true meaning of "southern hospitality" as I was consistently
welcomed by the strong spirited people NOLA.
I have never known public drunkenness and open container to be legal,
but there the everyones just having a good time and enjoying life,
no fighting and set representing, just enjoying the culture.
Not only did I find flavor, laughter, and freedom,
I found a handsome Spanish tutor from Nicaragua, so I also found friendship.
I also found a bottomless daiquiri cup but thats another story.
Viva New Orleans, Merci beau-coup!~

I found out what it means, to miss New Orleans
