Adware and spyware seem to be growing more and more everyday. Not to mention those annoying pop-ups and unsolicited emails. Most of us already should have some sort of anti-spyware and anti-virus on our systems already. However even though we have these systems already in place, the nature of these threats change on a daily basis and become more complicated.

Most of us probably have the most commonly used software installed on our computers, such as AdAware from Lavasoft and AVG Anti-virus from Grisoft. While these programs have done justice to protect peoples computers, surprisingly enough they don't fully protect your computer from threats entirely.

I was browsing the net and found this new product from Netcom3. Its a security software suite that protects the whole package. The most impressive feature that I find it to have is its focus on proactive prevention rather than reactive perspective. They believe that the first step to defense is avoiding the threat in the first place.

This security suite is definitely a competitor with other name brands like Norton and McAfee. This suite includes features like internal offline maintenance to general areas of your computer like a registry optimizer, this is similar to System Mechanic but much more in depth. It also has a pop-up blocker and real-time blocking technology as well a load of other features that protect privacy and overall integrity of your system.

I was researching Netcom and found that they are a global leader in Internet security. They cater not only to end consumers like us but also to corporate heads. They offer a free scan and trail of their software so I decided to try it out. The program itself I found to be far more effective, not only did it find more but it also did a root scan and repaired by boot sector flaws. As well it automatically detects and corrects the most common problems that computers have including: run time errors, corrupt files and folders, invalid directory paths, fonts, file types, CLSID, DLLs, sound, help files, shell extensions, AppEvents, class keys and many more.

Personally I would recommend Netcom to everyone, but don't take my word for it, try it for yourself. You yourself will probably be amazed at what this new program can do. Although I still have AVG and AdAware I now use netcom as my primary security software.
