I would love to write my opinions, like so many others, about how God exists, how he had to create himself, and then have the audacity to describe this God. Then I could write this article without the need to think, I could say God cannot be evil, he has to be all-powerfull, backing this up with how I know it to be true deep in my heart. Yet this would not be an argument, it would just be another un-inspiring article that tries to justify itself by good writting. To answer a question one must use logic.
Just to quicly answer my above assertions please bear with me untill the topic at hand is reached. As to God cannot be evil, why not? Is it too scary to think God could be evil when it felt like it? If there was a thing that existed outside of time and space, could we really give it human attributes like good and evil? That would be like calling God smart or stupid, alive or dead, or ugly or attractive. As to being all-powerfull, this is logically impossible. Can something all-powerfull make itself mortal and weak? Let's say God morphed into a squirrel, completely and entirely like a squirrel. Can the squirrel-God change back? If it can change back then it has failed its original purpose of completely becoming a squirrel, you see squirrels cannot morph into gods, thus it was never exactly like a squirrel in every way. If said squirrel-God could not morph back, that would mean that God does not have the ability to morph completely into something differnt, and then morph back. These are restrictions on ability. They seriously take away from the whole all-powerfull thing.
Who created God? This question does not discredit God, just like the queston what was before the big bang? does not prove it never happened. What this question does show is that religion does not explain where we came from any better than science can. The most common response to this is always god created itself or God always existed. As to God creating itself, that should really be an obvious one. How can something not in existence create anything, let alone itself? If one were to disagree with me it would have to be now at this premise: to act or be acted upon an object must first exist. If for some reason you do not believe this than please skip this next part. Creating is an action, thus something that does not exist cannot take action to create. Something that does not exist cannot create. Now in regards to how God may have always existed. It must be noted how different in function
