Fired: How to assess your own behavior

Being fired is sometimes right and sometimes wrong depending on the situation. Now getting into a more personal grasp of things, I was recently fired for something I didn't do. I got caught up in someone else's drama at my job that they kind of dragged me into without my permission. Our boss wasn't looking at all the facts, he was mainly looking at the one person who can get a lot of people fired and in serious trouble and that was me. The people on my job was watching pornography, smoking and selling marijuana, and I knew and seen all of this. The beginning of the drama on my job began when this new guy had gotten hired and he began sleeping with one of the females in our department. He had told me about the secret love affair and kept assuming I already knew after I told him I didn't want to hear about it and I didn't know. The girl he slept with was my friend and one day she over heard us talking, bluntly heard him telling me the positions he was sleeping with her in, so he continued to tell me these things against my wishes. My friend didn't know he was telling me these things until she over heard him telling me so instead of getting upset with him she had gotten upset with me for not telling her I knew all of this. I tried to explain to her I didn't want to get caught up in the middle of something I had nothing to do with so after this everything flew out of control. The whole department just turned into a Jerry Springer episode and eventually my boss found out everything and was kind of trying to avoid Human Resources finding out what was going on in the department.

The guy that was sleeping with the girl worked on second shift with me and the girl worked on first shift but it also was other drama on first shift also. On second shift it was me, another Caucasian guy, and the African American guy sleeping with my friend. The African American guy out of no where start smoking and selling marijuana on the job where as though people were coming knocking on our department door looking for him to buy drugs and smoke with him on the property. The Caucasian guy had another problem, he was watching pornography everyday on the job, taking as he would say a bathroom break sneaking in the cafeteria to watch more porn, and I would catch him. Other people caught him also but he continued to watch pornography no matter what, he watched more porn than work was done everyday on the job. My boss even had a meeting about the porn with us because the IT department caught
