MY SHINING KNIGHT

I love him so much
does he even know?
I try so hard to hide them
but I'm afraid my feelings show.

Does he think of me
when I'm not there?
Does he notice
does he even care?

He's in my thoughts
night and day
hoping for a moment,
wishing for a way.

Does she know
he's on my mind?
She's not fooling me,
no one can be that kind.

I see him hurting
longing for more,
We made the wrong choices,
what are we waiting for?

There has to be a day
when the time is finally right
I'll wait forever
to have my shining knight.

I love him this much
for now, we both lay low
I love him this much
I hope someday he'll know.
