Oh, let us drop to our knees
and praise this holy being,
this God among man
who christened not with
chrism
but with tyrannical
patriotism
and gunfire!

All hail
the new age warlord,
the gun-slinging,
flag-toting
river baron,
the muse of war,
the fourth horseman
of "democracy!"

I've brought cannons
to fire in your honor,
enough power
to desolate
one thousand "lesser lands,"
just the way you'd like it, I'm
sure,
just sure.
No, there will be no fireworks tonight.
Instead,
turn your eyes
towards
the Middle East,
where broken souls
will continue
to suffer under American
blitzkrieg,
and when the bombs
explode,
and the cities are leveled,
and children are torn from their mother's
arms and into
a million shards,
the dust will rise
in a dazzling array
of red, white and blue.

Shed a tear for Corporate and Country.
God bless the American way.
