Putting a beer to my lips or any form of alcohol and looking down at my stomach would make me feel crazy. For nine months, you are saying I cannot put this life before my own. For what purpose does drinking serve while carrying a life in your stomach?

Are we really talking about drinking while trying to have a baby for what reason did you get pregnant? What else exactly would you do for nine months if you start with the drinking? Saying that it is ok to drink while pregnant is like saying go ahead and have unprotected sex with a stranger it will be ok. Does that sound absurd then so does this drinking thing.

As a society are we at such a place that we have to it and not make the simple sacrifice.
Not everyone is going to agree on what the proper thing to do is I am sure. But what I know is this are you willing to take that chance and then have something go wrong with your child. Nobody will know but you of course but is it worth the possible heartache later on and the regret. Everything you put into your body is directly linked to the baby that is why everything has warning labels on it for pregnant women.

To pick up a bottle of booze of any kind and put it to your lips is crazy. I am sure my mother would knock me into two states before the end of the world. If I ever considered putting my children through anything to jeopardize there lives. Life is so precious to even be able to give the gift of life is a wonder. Some folks try for years and never have a biological child of there own. Then there are others that look at men and get pregnant and this is like a top ten thing to do. By far none of us is angels and we all make mistakes in life. But I would like to think that one of my mistakes was not picking up a bottle and knocking it back. Now guilty of eating up everything I could get my hands on while pregnant that I can say there is a picture of me in the dictionary for pregnant women eating.

Late night snack abuse while pregnant even not drinking enough water. But taking a little hit off of some booze no I will leave that one to others. If you even are, considering taking a drink such as hard liquor please attend a meeting or contact your doctor. That baby is depending on you to take care of them and that includes while there in your tummy. Start making the parental decisions now while pregnant that will matter to your child's future down the road.
