Brokenness, anger, remorse, guilt, hate, regret and shame are just some labels for a life time of past baggage. Some have accumulated more on top of their smelling heap of poison, allowing it to rob them of peace, love, and joy. So what is stopping you today from putting the garbage out for good?
This is a bold statement to make to anyone but if you have suffered from life's biggest robber than you understand why it reeks of sternness. If you haven't found a "rid-o-baggage" plan which provides relief then this could be of some help.
As mentioned above, the unseen robber in life is past baggage with an overall negative effect daily. A thief of real happiness, love and joy. I know on my journey it became the ruler, like taking a life form of it's own. Not only did it live in me, eventually living without it seemed impossible. I am reminded, more over writing this, how detrimental this vampire of life had effected me.
Banishing past baggage from life didn't come easily. Owning up to my faults wasn't a given nor did I relish in facing the demons of the past. Unfortunately, taking on the past alone numerous times did not work.
Let's flash back before I get ahead of myself. In life before Jesus Christ became my Savior, it was dark and wicked running deep like still water. I was a non-believer so far as to state a Pagan Worshiper. Everything I knew was of ceremonies, spells, sorcery, and many gods and goddesses. Surely, you get the picture. Not so pretty so far is it?
My life was pure kayos full of bad decisions, and destruction with a past waiting to keep me hostage. My soul wept in torment and bondage. My heart shattered in brokenness. Hope completely vacant. Past baggage combined with the damning life style stoled any scent of joy left.
It really wasn't until I was saved through Jesus Christ did any relief become reality. The more devoted I became to his teachings, developing into a Christian, and the stronger my faith grew in God the lesser my baggage became. In essence, a restoration of my life began to take place full of grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness.
Today I am a Christian blessed with relief from past baggage. My soul knows salvation. My heart healed from brokenness. I know I have been forgiven, I am loved, capable of love, and at peace with my past. I praise the Lord for restoring my life.
In closing, for the reader who holds doubt in this testimony I pray for your willfulness to seek the Lord ask him into your heart, repent your sins, find forgiveness towards those who have offended you, and freedom from the past baggage that binds you. For the Christian's which found him, accepted his blessings, forgiveness, and have received relief I praise the Lord faithfully.
