Suicide is Simple
How easy to destroy the blank
The faceless, the unformed
Thoughtless as a teenage prank
Uncaring, or unwarned
So simple to ignore the plea
That we refuse to hear
So daunting, trying to get free
From all-oppressing fears
We must never be shameless
When in the public eye
Suicide is painless
Only for those who die

A dinner waits in the oven, dry as tinder sticks.
You hadn't come home for tea, at the normal time of six.

Survival
The world span away

forgetting to forgive
by Paul Curtis

Leads a tortured soul
To break the bonds
Which hold us
Voluntarily
What illusion
So influences
A mind once so
