Hilton Head South Carolina is a great place to go for a 3-day getaway. It is great to go to Hilton Head for a little R and R. That is one thing you can definitely do there. You can sit by the ocean and just hang back and relax. The beach is beautiful and usually not very crowded. There are miles and miles of it too. Hilton Head is a great place to really just take it easy.

If you are the more adventurous type, there is always kayaking in the beautiful steams along the Atlantic ocean. What I mean by streams are more like bogs. They are little inlets of water surrounded by all kinds of reed islands. It is really neat to go around them and explore. You can go with an expert who will show you what to look for and see. When we went we had dolphins jumping up all around our kayaks. It was so cool. The reed pieces of land are also made up of tons and tons of mussels. They line the shore lines of all the little islands. You would not want to fall out of your kayak because all of these sharp little shells also line along the bottom of the waterways. Anyway, you can have a great day exploring, just remember to bring your bug spray.

Another great daily activity on the Island is biking. Almost everyone does it. You can rent a bike at many different locations, or you can bring your own. Hilton Head is rather small in area and you can bike around and see most of it. There is biking paths everywhere.

You can rent a bike and take it to one of the many little fishing spots all around Hilton Head. You do not have to go far, or anywhere specific. If you have a pole and see some water, you can pretty much fish there. Of course, as long as it is not private property. So do not forget your fishing poles. Although those too can be rented or purchased on the Island.

Hilton Head is a great little island. I would recommend a quick or a long visit to anyone! You can just sit back and relax or be adventurous, it is all up to you.
