WHERE DREAMS GO TO DIE
It is a lonely and desolate place,
A place that no one likes to visit.
It is full of disillusionment and despair,
A place where hope is waning.
It is where dreams go to die.
It is a sad and heartbroken place,
A place where only those who know can go.
It is full of cold grey skies and rain clouds,
A place where the sun never shines.
It is where dreams go to die.
It is a weary and tired place,
A place where there is no strength,
It is full of moaning and groaning,
A place where the joy has long been gone.
It is where dreams go to die.
But alas! Like a spotlight shining through the glum.
The dust particles dancing on the beam of light,
The sun rays giving me renewed faith, hope and joy,
To climb out of this dark, dank and dreary place.
A place ..where dreams go to die.

A life full of vibrant dreams
Each day longed for the future
Reality's not what it seems
