I have seen the aura of power.
It rested comfortably, like a cloak, upon the shoulders of a humble man.
Most people missed it, when they saw him, because it fit him so naturally,
so well.
Yet when he spoke, they listened
When he joked, they laughed
And when he left, they smiled after him.
He cleaned up garbage, for a living.
He kept the toilets in the bathroom spotless.
The titles and wealth that surrounded him meant little to him,
but the people behind them meant much.
And it was from them that he drew
his power,
his poise,
his confidence,
his ease.
He walked a simple walk.
He lived a simple life.
And he taught me that anyone,
in any station of life,
in any circumstance,
can lift others,
and live,
with power,
quietly.

I have seen the aura of power.

is not power,
it is the potential
to have power
education
is the toolbox of skills
we draw on
in order to succeed
This life that GOD has given me will not be put to waste.
I plan to help the weak and strong without a word of haste.
And
Awaken weakling!
Be bold.
Outstretch your hand and grasp the day.
It is yours to claim.
You mold the steps that lead towards
