Love...it was created by God,
Before the foundation of the world was laid out,
Before man and woman had the opportunity to sin,
Before death entered into being.
Life...came at God's bidding,
Just by speaking the word,
and man was here.
He lived and loved,
He sinned and grieved the loss,
It was his legacy to those of us who followed.
Death...comes after love and life,
It waits in the shadows, quietly,
We forget it is there, patient,
Always watching, but dormant until God speaks.
The cycle repeats itself,
Love, Life, Death,
All created by God,
All with purpose and hope,
All with certainty.
Someone will love us,
We will have life,
We will know death,
But the love will never die.
Love is resurrected eternally,
Christ loved, died, lived,
He passed that on to us,
Love can never die,
Love is Christ, and He lives!
