Visiting Myrtle Beach, SC for a three day getaway can be a fun and exciting adventure with a mixture or relaxation and romance. There are a couple of new attractions that are absolute must sees whereas the historical, family aspect of Myrtle Beach is still readily apparent as you travel through this ever growing beach town. Some of the more difficult decisions on a three day journey would be where to eat and where to stay because of the abundance of restaurants and resorts that line the beach. However, there are a couple of restaurants that you just can't pass up in the Myrtle Beach area.

Go ahead and plan one of your days to be spent at the brand new Hard Rock Theme Park. The cost is approximately $50 per person per day and the Led Zeppelin roller-coaster will make this one of the most exciting days spent in Myrtle Beach. Overall the park is interactive with entertainment around every corner and rides that will cover any age range. Restaurants and trendy shops add to the allure of the world's first Hard Rock Theme Park.

Another day should be spent strolling around the new Market Commons in Myrtle Beach. This area was just constructed and is surrounded by beautiful walkways and lakes with parks and playgrounds for children. The simple beauty of it all will take your breath away. Market Commons has several high end retail shops, a new cinema, and a great deal of unique restaurants. One of the restaurants located in Market Commons is PF Chang's. This is a national chain, but if you have never visited one, you have got to make sure that you don't miss it on your three day getaway. PF Chang's serves a lettuce wrap appetizer that is completely different than any other item on your typical appetizer menu. The ambiance of the restaurant and the service combined make your visit a worthwhile hour or two!

A third day in Myrtle Beach would simply consist of enjoying the nature that Myrtle Beach was built upon. Spend a day in complete relaxation by taking time to enjoy the sun and calming waves as they brush upon the sand. This is a great opportunity to browse through magazines, listen to some music, or people watch. An occasional dip in the Atlantic Ocean will also wake the senses and provide some necessary refreshment. Depending on the resort or hotel, there is often an outdoor pool and cabana that can also be enjoyed in addition to the oceanfront views.

As night falls upon you, you can visit one of the hundreds of miniature golf courses that seem to be on every corner in Myrtle Beach. From a pirate ship to Jurassic Park, there is every type of mini golf setting available depending on your preference

Myrtle Beach, SC has so much to offer when it comes to a three day getaway. You can go from one extreme to the other in the sense of excitement to relaxation from one day to the next. The attractions are endless and Myrtle Beach offers enjoyment for any type of personality. A three day getaway would be a perfect opportunity for you to "wet" your feet at the beach and make plans for future visits.
