Off season rates are better during non peak times of the year and can be cost effective for families that are on a budget.

Myrtle Beach sites and events can not be conquered in three days because there are so many things to see and do and a three day stay. Hunnington State Park also offers camping to add to your experience and the old Spanish fort is a popular tourist destination for the park. A sanctuary for the sea turtle's that bury their eggs in the tall sand dunes that line the beach are off limits during part of the season but local Game and Fishing officers are glad to explain the wild life habitats to anyone interested.

Surf fishing and long walks will find you exhausted at days end and a three mile walk to the Murrell's inlet sea wall will find you hunting shark teeth and sea shells along the way. The beach offers the best chances of collecting sand dollars and many unbroken sea shells on it's shores.

A three day getaway will make you impulsive and spontaneous to see the areas best things first. What ever your fancy. Myrtle Beach will have you combing it's beach's and local hot spots. Family Kingdom Amusement park and the main Pavilion have special events such as the "Sun Fun Festival" and A "Sand Castle" competition every year.
