Terrorism

Should governments negotiate with terrorists?

How good it would have been when everybody could get what everybody wanted isn't it? It would mean no conflicts. Seems very exciting but, this is one thing we all know could never happen. Life doesn't seem to go ahead without conflict.

This is the age of two T's
1. Technology
2. Terrorism

Both the T's are growing so rapidly that all the limits are crossed way over. The growth of the 1st T is understandable, but what about the 2nd one? Governments of the whole world are exhausted trying to curb Terrorism. It is like being cornered and there is no way out.

Most measures taken by Governments against terrorists are peaceful but there are many instances when the prey has offended the guilty. Of all the measures taken by the Governments, there still could be one chance. That is attacking the root of the problem. the Government should send trained people who could get into the system of terrorists and try to work out solutions. If no solution is possible, then the already gained information about the terrorist organisation could in handy for the Govermnent.

It might sound hilarious but this is what the terrorists do. They penetrate into the system and then disrupt it. If it works for them why should it not work for the Governments?

Terrorists are also humans. Ask any terrorist if he is a terrorist and he will definately say no. Because for him he is putting his life at stake for a noble cause. They feel like missionaries on a mission. That means they are doing a kind of selfless acts, and that implies that they really possess a moral obligation. So, if something could be done to please them, what better could happen?

It is the duty of every Government to protect its citizens, it could not just put a risk on their lives by creating more conflicts with the terrorists. The only and the best way is Negotiating.
