Dear God

My life as you know is a roller-coaster. It's been an amazing ride in recent months. I'm at a point where I need you so bad it hurts. A short while ago, I thought I had it all and I knew it all. I prayed and gave thanks to you but in hindsight, I did not do it with faith and dedication.

Now I need you more than ever. With You, I'm everything. Without You I'm nothing. I hate being nothing. I ask You for forgiveness for my sins and not for the first time I pray that you send Jesus Christ to come into my life as my personal savior. I'd never really stopped to consider why Jesus never stays around me long. I know now. I mean, how can he when I choose to spend the majority of my time in areas of sin, indulging in sinful acts and behaving in a manner not befitting a true Christian believer.

I changed into someone I could not recognize to the point where I nearly hated myself. I have now got a grip. I want You around me Father God. I'm tired of being 'Mr Bigshot', whom everyone love and respected. I'd rather be simply me whom everyone loves and respects.

I want you to help me help my family to trust in You. I feel in my bones that this is the surest way of me finding redemption.

I've hurt so many people. God, only You knows it wasn't deliberate. I'm hurting inside just thinking about it. I've let people down. You know who they are. I ask that You forgive me and more importantly help me to forgive myself. I know I will prevail. You are on my side once more. I feel it. Do not desert me as I need you now.

At this crossroads in my life, I know if You're with me the next step I take will lead me to spiritual success. That's what I ask for dear God. Spiritual success, as well as knowledge, wisdom and understanding. That's the way to true happiness, in my opinion.

Thank you Lord for what you've done for me. Thanks for what You're doing right now and thanks for what You'll do for me in future.

I pray for my country Sierra Leone. I pray that you give the leaders the insight to make the right decisions for the benefit for that great nation. I also pray for the UK. Kids are killing kids. It is evident that people have moved away from You in this great nation. I pray that you listen to the cries of the minority in the UK and restore this great nation to all its former glory, back to the days when the majority sought you.

You alone are God. I should have sought you earlier, but as they say better late than never. I cannot wait to give my testimony of how You turned my life around.

Thanks again Lord and keep my family tight.
