Some of the most memorable moments in young person's life are when they go off to college. The ecstasy of the exiting unknown and the adventures that lie upon the open horizons of a new life. And even the few butterflies that keep our stomachs churning at night before we go to bed. We are looking forward towards a great life, with great experiences, and a very bright and promising future.
But, college life is not a fairy tale. It is filled with work, work, and more work. And it takes a willing mind and a courageous heart to be the very best that any student can be. Prospective college students must understand that your must be responsible, and take very good care of what you are doing. When you put into prospective that your education is serious business and not a game, then you will approach what you do in your coursework in a mature manner. Putting your business first and then worrying about the good times later on will make learning and success all the sweeter for you. Following here, we will look at some of the things that you can do as a student to assure that you will have a fulfilling college experience and not be cheated out of not accomplishing your goals.
1. First, remember that college is big business. I remember in a tape seminar some years ago when I was in a seminar that discussed that "Where There's A Will, There's an A." But the main point that he had spoken of was that "college is big business." And he began to lay out information on how when you approach your work with concept that your will begin to have a better chance of making better grades in school. Just being neater, and taking extra time to proof read your work and doing a spell check on your papers is a good start in the right direction towards making good grades. This is one very positive step in towards making good choices that will lead to a better quality of life and well being as a student.
2. Second, always set up a schedule and plan ahead what you are going to do. This is another good step in being responsible for what you wish to accomplish in college. Planning ahead takes away any undo stress about what needs to be done during the run of the week. You know all of the important things, wake up in the morning, getting cleaned and changed for class. Go to class, after class go study, grab some
