Did you know that from our own scientific research we have found out that there are literally billion's, maybe even trillion's of star's in our galaxy and we also know that in our galaxy there are several planet's orbiting one of these larger star's and on one of those planet's we know for a fact that it hold's intelligent life. I'm talking about our very own planet Earth and our very own galaxy (The Milky Way).

Did you also know that based upon our observation's with the Hubble space telescope that we have found literally thousand's of other galaxies and have estimated there could be billion's, maybe even trillion's of galaxies out there.

With these fact's in front of us, we can statistically say that if one out of every 100,000 galaxies has at least one planet and a star similar to our own sun, then we can easily realize that there are billion's of other unknown planet's in the universe, and if a very small fraction of those planet's hold life and an even smaller fraction of those planet's hold intelligent life, then there are literally thousands of possible planet's that have some sort of intelligent life on them.

With all of these number's it is foolish to think we are alone in the universe, life happened on our very own planet and it can very well happen on another planet, however our universe is so large that even moving at the speed of light it would take us a very long time to reach another galaxy and even longer to find one with intelligent life on it.

With these statistic's it is extremely unlikely that an alien race has already visited us but it is even more likely the we will end up destroying our own planet and our own civilization before we ever encounter a race of aliens, this is based from a number of fact's relating from world war's to global warming, we are slowly killing our own planet and ourselves and eventually we will no longer have a place to live and therefore any alien race will not be able to find us when we no longer exist in this universe.

I personally wish that one day an alien race does find us and does make contact with us, a former US president once said "It may take an event of astronomical scale to hit us before we stop fighting and start working together as a planet", he later went on to say that this event could be an alien race arriving at our own planet.

So to sum it up, it's extremely unlikely that an alien race has ever visited us and it is a fare guess to say that we may very well destroy ourselves before they ever find us, but the one thing we should all realize is that we are not immortal gods, we can die, and intelligent life can exist on other planets. It is just a matter of time before we find them, they find us, or we destroy our civilization before any of that ever happens.
