Poetry: Romantic pain

by Kari Robbins

Created on: May 30, 2008

You show me the world,
Yet you take away my hope.
You give me dreams,
The desire for love inside,
But you wont let me in.
You say I'm always yours,
Though you don't love me anymore.
Taking away my hope as your love.
The love inside you went to anther,
Yet so did mine.
He gives me all you promised,
All the promises made with or without words.
He filled in the dreams, gave me the world.
Now you're back to say lets try again',
This time you wont fail.
The problem is I no longer love you.
Can't you see those days are gone?
The days when I was in pain for you.
Now the days are full of promises,
They all get fulfilled.
I never feel the pain for you anymore.
I'm all his, he's all mine.
For its love that binds us.
