ABORTED DREAMS

New life, new face.....

"Abort him" they made their case.
Condemned to death with ease.
At birth they looked with a gaze.
A gaze that avoided the face.
Growing up was a pathetic case.
Learned to live life at a pace.

Struggled, until one day life he aced.
Now they all want his embrace.
After him with their eyes they chase.
Now hear their words of praise.
"Oh, he is full of grace"

Here, to you is my own phrase.
"Everyone is a child of grace"
Many to their deaths do we chase.
Give a chance so he proves his case.
A little time for him to pace.
Abort not his dream with ease.
